There were pacers last year anyway as I ran with the 50 min group, other times were there too but I can't remember which exactly.

Originally 1200 entries, sold out in 6 days. After a committee meeting it was agreed to increase to 1500 so a further 300 were released a couple of days later.

for some reference, the last 3 years of finishers were 1025, 975, 950.
with 1500 entries, they’ll be around 1200-1250 finishers this year
