    I see Maplins does a MP3/CD player for 150 ish? are Shark any good? I'm assuming that would be better than my half working philips tape deck and the bottom of the range Song CD player I was looking at?

    Why would you buy somethng that you never heard of, when you could get a brand name as Panasonic for around € 185.00 - CQ-RDP383 cd/mp3 player?

    Because I don't know anywhere in Ireland that does the Panasonic . I still don't.
