Loads of single “Resale” really expensive seats, doesn’t make sense. Ticketmaster putting these up surely?

The only ones that will hang around will be expensive ones and resale was just enabled so people who bought expensive ones might got cheaper ones so just flogging the expensive ones

Yep I'm confused by the single platinum tickets too. There are loads and they all came on at the same time. Must be ticketmaster trying to get rid of odd seats.

Have the bots completely taken over Ticketmaster? Just saw two tickets up for €91 each and they're immediately gone. I've seen this so many times and find it hard to believe it's always someone who is just faster than me. 🤔

Just saw this seating plan online on the TM website for the Dublin shows - can we assume that if you have a PITCHB or PITCHA ticket you're definitely in those front sections, or is that wishful thinking? Would be pretty cool if so. But I think as people said previously, they're probably just sorting codes…

If your ticket says Pitch A, you're in that Pitch A section and same for Pitch B.

They wouldn't split the seating map if they weren't enforcing it.

I personally don't think bots are as big a problem as people make out.

Theres just not many tickets being resold and with thousands of people checking the page frequently, they're being snapped up quickly.

It's worth checking but you'll need to have lady luck on your side.

Has anyone experienced issues with buying resale tickets on Ticketmaster? This morning a resale pitch ticket was on sale for the Friday Coldplay concert. I instantly jumped on it, was brought to the payment page, put in my card details and submitted it. I confirmed the payment in my banking app and the payment went through. I could see the amount removed from my account. However, I never got a confirmation email for the ticket and it wasn't listed in my events on my account. Then at 6pm today I got an email from Ticketmaster saying that although payment went through, there was an error with the order, and the order was unsuccessful so I'll be refunded. This also happened to me with Hozier tickets as my friend really wants us to see Hozier but when I bought resale tickets the order didn't go through. I amquite annoyed at Ticketmaster that they went as far as taking the money from my account, but I haven't got a Coldplay ticket because of an error on their part. Anyone else experienced similar?

Not with resale, but similar happened with regular tickets before, it's a very flaky system that doesn't work well at setting a priority purchaser.

does anyone find that after a few mins of looking through the dates for resale that it’ll just suddenly show up as no tickets for any day? And I’ve checked against another random gig that definitely would have tickets and it says the same for that then. It must think I’m a bot after a while of going in and out of the different days and block me for a while from seeing tickets

I was seeing that too. I saw regular price resale tickets (Artist Presale) a couple of times but wasn't able to complete the purchase. Third time lucky, I got two Artist Presale tickets. Still €380 total once all the fees are added but cheaper than the Platinum resale tickets I'm seeing more frequently. Keep trying…

yeah, the basket system ticketmaster isn’t full proof and even though there is the count down clock etc another person can have it in their basket at same time.
basic stuff that shouldn’t happen

I said a year ago when tickets went on sale that more tickets will become available closer to the time when the stage dimensions are known. Still, the Ticketmaster monopoly of a system is a load of ****

any tips for getting the 2 you got? I’ve been trying constantly for the last week with no luck. Rarely any tickets come up, I keep getting kicked off as a bot and the odd time they do come up, it instantly says they’re gone. Do you just keep clicking in and out or did you go on once and get lucky? Getting desperate!

Just saw some tickets come up. Went to get them, then it said: "Something went wrong

The page you are looking for cannot be found."

Went back into the page and the tix are still there.

Repeat the procedure, same message comes up again.

A few minutes later more tix come up for different seats, try to get them, same message.

tix stayed as available for about ten minutes now they are gone without ever letting me get them, no matter how many times I tried.

Did Ticketmaster think I was a bot, or was it a glitch?
