As there is only Siro and Virgin FTTH in my area, I can only choose between these 2 options. I am wondering if anyone by any chance has experience with any FTTH provider that offers routers that you can set to modem mode, so I can use my 3rd party router in my house.

Virgin's FTTH router doesn't offer switching to modem mode just yet and I am looking for a new Siro provider so I was wondering if anyone managed to do that with any Siro provider's routers.

Vodafone's Siro supports using your own modem - you can skip Vodafone's modem entirely, and use your own directly connected to the ONT.
