Starter Solenoid Help Needed

I traced a starting problem to a snapped off spade connector on the starter solenoid. There's absolutely no strain on the cable or connector - would just vibrations have done this? Please can someone advise how to reconnect cable or spade connector in the photo to what's left of the solenoid connector? (I'm after snapping off all the plastic around the connector for access). The other thing is that I can't remove the part from the car as I've no access to a jack or stands.

If you can get a soldering iron in there you could solder the wire to what's left of the spade connector. That would be the cheapest way. The correct way would be to change the starter motor.
