CS350 won't clear "mains fault".

    Would greatly appreciate any help please. I have an CS350 (I think) where the battery has been missing for years. Bought a new battery today and installed it but the button panel keeps whining with a "mains fault" and it won't reset when I enter the code or even the master code. Would be very grateful if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.
