Slashing in West cork with a nice bitter little f##ker of wind from the northish.the only bit of cheer is it looks like we might be getting a few days towards the weekend.if that doesn't come things could get fairly hairy fast around here

All day rain and judging by the water lying in the fields the water table has never been as high.

same here All day rain in the midlands. Had a few great day’s drying over the last week and back to square one again today.

Rained all day. Only 5 bales left. Letting them out on Thursday evening. I per acre should be ok. Quiet bullocks. Plenty of grass.

I feel sorry for the tillage men.

Definitely cause it'll work it's way to lessening the meal for next winter for all cattle, we'll all find it tough then once again.

ah it was shocking here today . Fecking lakes of water in fields. Lambs hunched up under ditches. Only fields with grass being walked into the ground. Only few bales of hay left. NE wind and rain blowing into the shed. Fecking sick of it at this stage

I was up at 4am checking on a cow due to calf and the ground was dry. The place was flooded at 7am when I got up this morning and it's been more or less drizzle or raining ever since. Heavy rain here since 5pm and it's not letting up.

Ye, no rain when i got up at 5 30, started around 7. It wasn't forecast as bad around here. Football cancelled, pitch waterlogged.

had to let the cattle out this evening. No feed. Plenty of grass. Out in 3 batches. It drizzled after I let them out but it was 15 degrees. Knowing my luck they’d get pneumonia in the shed.

Had a two week old calf in the shed with pneumonia today.

Just back in from the shed checking on a heifer that is due. It's pissing rain but on the upside it's mild at 12c. Checked with the light of the torch on the six suckler calves that I put out last week and they are nice and dry lying in the bedded creep feeder.
