Alternatives to paypal

Client asked to use PayPal to simplify the payment from their end PayPal are now holding the funds for 21 days, having taken 3.5% in fees for a euro payment I am going to refund the payment but need an alternative

We use Remitly to send money from Ireland to other countries. I assume it works both ways. There is also xoom, but it's part of PayPal.
I assume getting yourself an american bank account is not an option.
