Broadcasting Talent Management Agencies

I put this in radio as most broadcasters do radio, and some also do TV work.

As regards broadcasting “talent” only two agencies come to mind:

NK MANAGEMENT - Talent Management Agency

    Pat Egan Management

I’m sure there are others, but most agencies are in the business of offering casting talent for television, radio and theatre work. Pat Egan looks after international business, acting work as well as likes of broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan. NK specialises in Irish based broadcasting talent only; those whose primary job is being a broadcaster, and others who are guest broadcasters when their expertise in a particular area is called for.

Anybody know of other agencies looking after radio, TV and other media broadcasting in Ireland?

Carroll & Associates would be the next best “talent” agency in Ireland.

I see Des Bishop is one of their best known.

Possibly the accountancy side is managed by their namesake accountancy firm:

    They're different companies!

Des bishop is handled by Lisa Richards who are the agents for many comedians and actors.

Carol and Carroll are two completely different names (one's a first name, one's a surname), so they're not even "namesakes".

lots more acting talent around than broadcasting. Actors get more bit-time parts unless they have longer contracts with a tv series. So there seem to be more agencies with a lot of small time actors on their books than agencies with the major broadcast hosts, and broadcasting expert guests who get regular radio stints every couple of weeks. NK is the broadcasting host & guest specialist agency that readily comes to mind. It seems to be the only one entirely devoted to this cohort.

Carol Hanna is long since retired. Her niece looks after the business now.

OP, the hobby industry here is somewhat in the same situation. If one of my model trains develops a fault there is only one service agent here:

    CAPTIVE AUDIENCE.

And of course the "talent management" outfits exploit this to the max.
