Hi, NTL Technical I want to upgrade to your digital service in my house but I have a question to put to you first. I have three different TV's in three rooms in my house so I am wondering does your slogan "multi-room viewing" in your ad mean that once it is installed that I can watch digital channels on any of these TV's or would I have to get a separate box and separate connection for each TV. I would really apreciate it if you could clarify this for me and anybody else who has any information on this is also welcome to contribute!

For NTL, "multi-room viewing" refers to the fact that for cable customers, you keep the analogue service alongside the digital one. This is opposed to Sky where you need a seperate box and extra subscription for each TV. You can then route this to other TVs (although NTL would prefer you to get an offical extra point, and indeed was offering free installation and two months free rental of up to two extra points at one stage).

However this only refers to analogue channels (or "Basic TV" as NTL now brands it). For digital channels you need a seperate box for each TV, and NTL normally only supplies one box (and AFAIK you cannot order a second).
