Samsung TV fault, bought from currys

Just need a bit of help with the above, bought a tv back on black Friday but only was opened 2 weekends ago as we were moving into a new house. Last Sunday the tv went haywire. Bottom of screen was mirroring the middle, from halfway down the screen if was blurry and faded to the bottom and the tv went into a constant reboot cycle restarting every 5 to 10 seconds (still stuck on this).

From talking to currys helpdesk after being transferred a few times it sounds like there's a few different issues all at play, hardware and software.

We've to go into store to discuss it with receipt as they never put our names on the receipt but just wanted to know all my rights ahead of time so we don't get blindsided in there. Have obviously year warranty still applicable but didn't opt for the insurance on the tv.

We'd literally just been watching TV when it happened and it went haywire. No one had been near it.

Ideally we'd be looking to get replacement rather than repair but just wanted to double check consumer rights ahead of time. Thanks.
