The sad thing there is the pitch correction isn't needed.

My first real live music awakening was a metallica gig at Hammersmith odeon in 88, I was young but it blew my mind.

When they recorded the first 5 albums it was basically James hetfield laying down 5 or 6 guitar tracks and kirk playing solos only.

Obviously live they only have two guitars and kirk has to play rhythm and lead accompanying James singing and playing rhythm.

My point is I found how they performed live to be a wonderful thing where they had to adapt to a live situation. Any issues with being tired or strained added grit to the songs and hearing just two guitars play the harmonies made it more real.

I have found after the x factor, kids and their mammies got used to hearing perfect pitch and all the tricks that make it happen and when they hear a live band it horrifies them 😀😀

The thing that irritates me most about these two is constantly posing with their mouths wide open in every pic you see of them....what's that all about??

Honestly they use her so much online I'm surprised they didn't just cut out the middle man and just name her content and be done with it.

    Lockjaw?

No seriously though, they're in the papers every two weeks going on about their struggle as gay parents. We get it, you're gay, and who'd have thought running around after kids was going to be easy? And you know what, it's fair enough to want to make a point of it, but it's the only thing they seem to be able to say. There's nothing else, there's no opinion, there's nothing to promote.

It's the same thing every time, we're gay and we're parents, over and over, and over, and over, and over, again, and again, and again.

They could at least change it up for the sake of changing it up, but they don't even make an effort to do that. The very definition of being recognized (I don't think they're well known to be called famous) simply because you seek attention.

Can’t stand these cretins with the ‘unkept hair look’ over 60.

    Fanning……. Are you listening………

imo a lot of people who are gay have nothing else really interesting about them and just have to keep bringing it up as much as they possibly can.

It's the YouTube surprised click bait face thing. Gullible people click to see what the suprise is. It's like the opposite of art or science or meaning. I think it's the lowest ebb of intelligence the human race has stooped to ever. And those two ******" know there are a load of gullible people around.

Dowlings been doing that ever since his Big Brother days, reminded when I saw an RTE Guide cover for Christmas 2001 on FB recently, him on the cover with his gob wide open.

Dunno where that moronic trend started but I remember Denise Van Outen always used to do it in every single publicity photo at the height of her fame in the 90s/00s.

Don't recognise O'Kane as a comedian either. The reviews are bad for it but Deirdre does have a near mental breakdown in it, so that might be worth a watch.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

The Last Comic Laughing shows are the epitome of modern day comedy. Solely and entirely "overly try hard".

I haven't had a look but I'd imagine Amy Hubermans crew have been doing the rounds on twitter saying how they couldn't breath it was all so much.

Roy Keane. Idolised the footballer but he’s a bit of a dose at the minute.

for years he had absolute contempt for the media / press.

now he seems to be everywhere doing media work…..TV, social media ie. tiktok, he’s everywhere every day ….not all football related either….

I know people mature but going from having such fractious contempt and hatred for the media for years to now embracing it as a career and £££££££ earner on the other side…..it’s a bit hypocritical…….

when they critiqued him he hated them, now they pay him to do it, it’s sound. Dunno…not a good look.

Why can't the media just let Amy Huberman live her life out in relative obscurity, like everyone else with limited talent. They've been trying for the last 20 years to turn her into a star and it hasn't worked.Stop forcing her on everyone else.

He's become everything he claimed to despise when he was a player. He'd just a shallow media personality/celebrity now.Best of luck to him but he always claimed to hate bullshitters like that in the past.

Keane is a parody of himself and he's completely self aware.

You can see him cracking a smile the odd time when he forgets his grumpy man gimmick.

It happens to a lot of footballers. They spend their whole career stuck in a bubble are nine times out of ten are really dumb.

The way Keane goes on about Fergie is cringe. It's only football Roy calm down.

Keane - "I was going to war with Arsenal".....

    Piss off Roy. It's football.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,281 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

Definitely no worse than the 'let's go to war' mentality in rugby.

    Probably a bit worse

In rugby there’s plenty of scope for legal physical altercation. People can get smashed in tackles or run over, bashed out of the way etc

Not to the same extent as Boxing or MMA of course but the phrase is a lot more applicable than in football “I dribbled the ball around that lad so hard he didn’t know where he was”. Doesn’t have the same ring haha

Rosie Jones . I know she’s doing great with her disability , but she’s just not funny . There I said it .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,828 ✭✭✭brokenbad

The fact that she is married to BOD might have something to do with keeping her profile out there - if she was married to an ordinary Joe Soap not a hope would RTE keep promoting her....

I have only seen the ads for that don’t laugh show on Amazon, but I already hate the gimpy looking young fella with the long hair. Looks like he was born with a golden spoon shoved up his ar$e.
