If you qualified as a young farmer you weren't a forgotten farmer?

Didn't qualify though was under 40 for the YFS but started in 2008. Anyway will take the 5 grand, the 60% TAMS and the national reserve thing (whatever that means).

Have you a link for this? I had applied for installation aid back in 2007/08 when ever it was pulling in the financial crisis, so got nothing. When the schemes re-opened I no longer qualified as a young farmer so missed out, together with probably 100's of others. Every so often there was rumblings about something being done for this cohort but I never saw anything concrete. Are you saving there is some kind of a scheme for us now?

According to the independent, this scheme is coming in the next few weeks ( not holding my breath) said the mister of agri to a macra meeting

What type of a package or scheme would eligible people be exspecting to get out of this? Like a lot of people I lost out on the insulation aid

Here's an up to date article from the farming indo giving some details of a possible scheme. Under the possible criteria outlined, I qualify. Can't wait til the money rolls in. $$$. Vegas here I come, or maybe skiing with the dairy lads in Jan.... 😎😎😎
