Upgrading from a Nespresso pod machine to an Espresso machine. (Entry level)

I would like to try find a durable machine that will last a long time and can be easily serviced if something went wrong with it. So like a good online support presence.

It would be my first espresso machine so nothing too complicated. Also, the option for a longer coffee would be ideal. I am open to suggestions. My budget would be €200-700.

Is it Full auto ( bean to cup) or semi-auto ( with portafilter) espresso machine you after?

I’d always recommend a separate grinder and coffee machine. This is very slightly over budget it both are bullet proof

I had the silvia and rocky for 15 years & sold them 3 years ago to upgrade, both machines are still working for the new owner

I've just done the upgrade myself today . Bloody expensive but went for sage the barista touch impress. No need to learn how to tamp. Will keep you posted

I'd concur with this, have a Sage Bambino Plus and a Sage Grinder Pro. Personally wouldn't recommend that grinder but Bambino is lovely.

You think it is good idea , but reality is different. You would buy decent grinder and machine for the money you’ve spent on Sage Touch Impress .It doesn’t have integrated weight scale and without it impossible to do precise dosing.
