    Try Ghana, that worked for me. Around €3.50 per month. Arg/Turkey/ Ukraine wouldn't work for me

    Not a payment issue, looks like my family sub 'expired' for some reason. Same payment method for storage was fine.

    I can renew easily enough. Weird one.

    Yeah I had a family sub and recently got a notification from playstore that t&c's were changing and I needed to agree and renew by tomorrow or else sub would lapse. I clicked agree but it didn't seem right as was unsure the press worked. Did it again same reaction with no notification that agreement was acknowledged. Came backed later and agreed again. Left it at that, next day ads appeared and family acc lapsed.

    Just set up a new single acc then.

    That's a few issues ive seen recently re family subs.

    Even when I setup my family sub and sent everyone an invite together all but 1 couldn't be activated when they accepted invite. Strange.

    How are folks paying for this? I'm fine using the vpn and getting the India price given to me but if I put in a virtual revolut card for example it pings me back to the Irish prices.

    Likewise and the price at source in Argentina has more than doubled, rapid drop in the value of the Peso again in recent months. It's on freefall for the last few years, they've it hard over there.

    Hi all,

    Signing up with UKR youtube, i enter in my card details (Revolut Mastercard). It accepts card and bring me to next screen showing me cost and asking to me select card i've just entered or Add Card. I can't select the card i've just entered. Only Add new card is option is available to select.

    Is it rejecting my card, even though it didn't throw up and error? Anyone seen this before?

    Revolut card (Mastercard) on the account expired and no matter what I did could not get new one accepted (Visa) so jumped countries. €3.66 for the family plan can’t complain tbh considering €17.99 here officially

    I've had YouTube premium set to Turkey for about 3 years now. I lost my bank card (Revolut) yesterday, and I've been trying to set a backup card in the meantime which would be one of my virtual Revolut cards. Both visa and Mastercard have been used, but YouTube won't accept either. I just have premium for my own account

    What are my options here? Will I need to set up a premium account in another country, or is there a way of staying in Turkey?

    In my experience, it's very random.

    I was with Argentina when my card expired, I tried a lot of cards but it won't allow me to change. I then tried Turkey and Ukraine, both wouldn't work for me.

    I randomly tried Ghana and that went through no problem. It's about 3.50 for a family per month

    Hi guys.Today I had to switch from Turkey to Ukraine as I couldnt update my card.When I sent invitation link to my wife it says that she is not in the same country.

    Tried vpn,incognito etc but It doesnt work.

    Any idea how to get it sorted?

    Did you have family plan before you switched to Ukraine? Sounds like you didn't if you sent invite now.

    It's in the first post of the thread & elsewhere that you have to setup your family group/invites before you join Premium in another country.

    You will have to cancel Ukraine plan & your Google family plan. Once your Ukraine subscription is no longer working, then make your Google family group & sign up to Ukraine plan.

    Its not to do with the country you have the premium sub with. Its to do with the country you wife's account was set up in.

    Yourself and your son are both set up with say Irish Google accounts and your wife might have an English one. I'm not sure how to check this.

    If you get her to set up a new account and try send the invite to that account and see if it works. Then she can add that account to her devices along with her existing account and just make sure YouTube is signed in to the new account.

    Thanks, can I use my current Gmail account when I set up in a new country? I take it I need to leave my current membership expire before I change countries as well.
