Metal detectors and dentals

I have a question. I was wondering why airport metal detectors don't pick up on dental crowns and fillings made from mercury, gold and silver? I have watched Ozzy Gold Hunters and the detectors on that show seem to be able penetrate deep into the ground and find metal objects when airport detectors cant.?

Metals used in dentistry are not ferromagnetic so are not detected by airport scanners.

Not all metals are ferromagnetic, mercury among them, your hearing won’t change their physical properties.
