    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

You say so much by saying so little 😀 - that’s pretty much it really - the newspapers are seeing it this way; the public are seeing it this way; I’d say even H&M know the writing is on the wall for them- never complain never explain - it’s so simple but Harry lost the RF playbook down the back of his sofa some years ago now and he’s royally paying for it now.

He won’t make a dime worth making in America from now on

Then they'll launch the international "We Want Our Publicity" tour. 😂

There must have been a version of the book that named the person (are we allowed say who it was?). Translations take time and need spot checks for tone and overall context so likely an earlier version was sent out to get started and the Lawers pulled that version but the Dutch didn't get the memo. I guess the letter between Charles and Meghan was his way of explaining he didn't mean anything other than concern or curiosity, they agreed to disagree.

She is the Thomas Markle in this scenario given that she has leaked Charles letter to Scobie.

Can't wait for William to deal with these two grifters eventually.

This has to be the final nail.

Poor Catherine, I read some of the excerpts. Nasty, mean girl, bullying content.

They've lost leverage with the leak. What will they do now? Stay silent and let Scobie take the flak? Silence as endorsement. Throw him under the bus? The risk there is that he could come clean about their supposed non-involvement. It wouldn't be all that surprising but would be additional proof of lying, manipulation and misinformation.

Scobie has previously told the Times that while he didn't interview them directly he has mutual friends with Meghan and this was definitely helpful in getting information and breaking details. What a mess but you reap what you sow. I think the last whimper from this, and the fatigue from it is certainly setting in, will be Meghan writing her inevitable book. The final word. It will come out within a year, will be a best seller, will make lots of money but like Spare it will be ridiculed, lampooned etc.

As an Irishwoman who believes in democracy, I've always thought that the British monarchy is a ridiculous institution, with unelected nobility having such enormous power. Madness. Having said that, any member of any family who will continuously diss his/her family for monetary gain, is a ghoul of the highest order. Be they what they may, but Harry is a disgrace to his family and his country. He looks so miserable these days that it's obvious that his marriage to the family-wrecker is on borrowed time.

Meghan will really cash in on the divorce and Harry will be left aimless.

A dumb, former senior royal will have to beg for crumbs and try to figure out where it all went wrong.

Was it when he got frostbite on his penis? Was it daddy cutting him off financially? Was it the moment he fell on the dog bowl? Was it Thomas Markle? Was it the smaller childhood bedroom? Was it William getting an extra sausage?

Could it possibly have been Megalomaniac Meghan... no, surely not?

Sarah Vine makes the point that if H&M stay quiet, they are effectively endorsing Scobie’s “book”. She makes some other good points, too!

Catherine is good looking, intelligent, athletic, has impeccable style and a sense of humour, went through ridiculous ("rude") media scrutiny for years with class, has a close and drama free relationship with her immediate family, is married to her billionaire best friend who will be a King, has three children who adore her, is "beloved" by the current King, seemingly has great relationships with the wider royal family, is the Princess of Wales, is popular in the working role.....

I dunno. It's a head scratcher as to why she would be a target for bullying from a D list actress, a flying monkey non entity author and a legion of online crackpots (e.g. Celebitchy).

Apparently the Dutch version also names the second person. The tabloids are getting their inches off this one.

Second member of Royal Family 'is named as racist' in Omid Scobie's book: Dutch translation of Endgame appears to identify two family members 'accused of speaking about Archie's skin colour' - as publishers desperately pulp copies | Daily Mail Online

Found on reddit extracts from the Dutch version translated into English, that they are attributing to the second person, in a separate conversation:

'Meghan felt racism from all levels, from staff to family. "Well, we could guess what some like SHE would be like. I saw it coming from afar" said Princess Michael of Kent." Meghan has turned it into a race issue. Because that's what everyone does these days.'

TBF the D list actress is infinitely more famous.

I'd say outside of the UK people would struggle to name her.

I could be wrong but I don't even think we have a thread about her on here.

Possibly true and yet Kate is not the one who craves attention.

Oh dear, someone needs to put a tea towel over her. Especially given her history.

the princess turned to the table and admonished the group, which included an investment banker, a senior television executive and an entertainment lawyer, by telling them: "You need to go back to the colonies".

Not the person I would have out bating for me TBH.

All Royals crave attention, it's all they have. They need it to help justify the fleece.

Kate is the 2nd person from the Dutch translated version. So now the alleged racists are the billionaire who wouldn't give them loadsa money and the woman who, imo, effortlessly outclasses her in every conceivable way.

Harry probably had an innocent conversation about the baby on the way. Bit of leg pulling and teasing as families tend to do. And it wasn't an issue until Meghan made it one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,611 ✭✭✭valoren

Meghan more famous than Kate? Yeah because nobody outside the UK watched that wedding in 2011. Just because someone is low key doesn't mean people don't know who they are. Although in thinking back Meghan didn't know who Prince Harry was (👍 Sure Jan) so there's that.

Nobody anywhere had a clue who Meghan was until "She's just mad about Harry".

How come the Dutch language of the book contains some different text to the original? And not just different text, but a name that's seemingly not in other versions. Something a bit fishy going on maybe?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,611 ✭✭✭valoren

It seems that the desire to get a reaction is now at desperation levels. A leak in the Dutch version. Oops. Soz.

Kate was part of the conversations but never reached out. So desperate to start a tit for tat. It's bullying at this point.

    Meghan more famous than Kate?

Yes. I think it would be quite remedial to argue otherwise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,611 ✭✭✭valoren

Had a family narc who caused ructions because when I went into a bar for a group night out she had a major problem because she had to say hello to me first and this was obviously proof that I didn't like her and had no time for her. Having experienced such head melting behaviour myself I'd easily imagine anything innocuous or innocent regarding race, skin colour or anything may have been similarly blown up into a soap opera which is now ongoing for years.

It may have been a first draft delivered in error. The one which hadn't gone through legal which said you'd better take that part out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,570 ✭✭✭✭Boggles

effortlessly outclasses her in every conceivable way.

It is largely about Class to be fair.

    Subjects, etc.

Meghan would have been seen as property by this institution in the past, not even as human.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,611 ✭✭✭valoren

It would like arguing if someone infamous is more well known than someone who is famous. I guess when someone has been busy becoming infamous in the space of the last 6 years while the other goes about their business without fuss for over 20 years then the former invariably gets more attention. There is no thread about Kate because, quite simply, there is no drama there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,611 ✭✭✭valoren

Class as in character. How do reckon Omid Scobie knows about the contents of a letter between Charles and Meghan? How he knows Kate was part of conversations?

    Bit today, no?

Anyway, we cleared it up eventually Meghan is far more famous than actually is it Kate or Catherine?
