COP28, "King" Charles, Greta, The Pope etc.

Greta? Sure it's all her fault. If only she was a little less lazy

Not funny. If she was from a rich upper class family OK it might have been funny but she is not. She is from an ordinary family just like most of the rest of us.

She has done lots to raise awareness of Climate Change and yes more could have been done to avoid what is happening now decades ago but no one cared and now we are paying for it. It's real not fake. It will only get worse if we do not take action against it.

By the way I agree this year's COP28 is a disgrace. Channel 4 news had a piece yesterday on how the Saudis are going to poor countries in Africa and Asia saying we will sell you lots of lovely oil for a fair price. Anything to keep themselves rich as well as in there supercars and posh cars while they are pretending to be green to the rest of the World. They do not care.

That's a bit weird...............saying it would be ok to make fun of her if her parents were wealthy.

(P.S. the video doesn't make fun of her btw. It is a technique called satire which is instead making fun of people relying on others like her to solve the issue...... It just happened to go over your head)

It's a complete farce, you know the Saudis will be there, telling everyone how fossil fuel demand is vital to reduce climate change, in opposite world. Channel 4 did a great piece on them a couple of days ago, pushing for supersonic aviation as it uses 3x the jet fuel and promoting cheap ICE cars in Africa to increase fuel demand. They have been very frustrated with the price of oil lately, blaming short sellers and cutting quotas. Those C4 journalists better watch out, or they'll be chopped up in a foreign embassy.

They aren't telling each other what to do, they are telling us what to do. "Rules for thee, not for me."
