Bank of ireland 2nd level account for 12 to 18 year olds

Looked in to setting up an account for young lad his 12 and was hoping to transfer money each week for school canteen and that he would be able to use his card and get used to managing his few quid on banking app. But looks like yes there is a BOI account for 12 year olds but no online banking and no debit card, not a fan of revolut as has let me down a few times not tapping, any alternative out there that's handy and easy to use.
