Meindl boots have caught a lot of flak lately. Lots of reports online of failure. I’m using Zamberlan boots now. Excellent quality, comfortable, great grip and superbly waterproof.

John Lambert in Camolin stocks them.

I'd go back to the shop with those meindl boots. Regardless of warranty they're clearly not fit for purpose, you'd expect much more wear than that from a pair of boots costing 240 euro. Look at the small claims court then.

Over the years I've used many different types of boots. And one day I was in the shops buying my boy some rugby boots. I came across these boots on a deal for €35.

Best boots I've ever had. They are warm, waterproof, light and give great ankle support. They have lasted 2 vigorous hunting seasons and still going strong.

Mendl Dovre, great high waterproof boots, easily broke-in.

Look after them and they'll look after you

I'm on my 3rd pair of Mendls with average pair lasting 8/10 years depending on how much I walk and I do alot of walking

Had soles on a pair of Army Pro disintegrate..........they were looked after properly.

Lost all faith in Meindl now.
