Work/winter partial shutdown/signing on

Hello,

The place where I work is is only going to be open 4 days a week for the next few months and I’ll ilk be on three days.

I know I can sign with welfare for the days I’ll be losing but is two days (16 hours) the maximum that I can claim?

I got a peek at the roster and and there is weeks where my three shifts are also getting cut.

if you were working five days and you’re cut back to three days then you have a “loss of employment” of 2 days. If you are not guaranteed 3 days then tell SW that and they’ll put you on the Xs and Os . But you can’t get SW payment for a day that you are working even if it’s only for an hour or so.

might I’m losing six hours some weeks it is probably worth just working two days though he would probably still cut hours on those days too.
