Can you log into the Nintendo account she created using her email address? I had to reset my Switch as I was selling it and when I tried to log back into it again with my Nintendo account it asked me for a code. The code was in my Nintendo account when I logged in on the web.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

The problem is neither of us signed her up for a Nintendo account.

She has since said her friend's big sister sent it up last year but they don't know the password.

    Thanks for your help.

I will contact Nintendo Support :)

Have you followed the steps to get the inquiry number?

    https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Support/Contact/Parental-Controls-Forgotten-PIN-and-Master-Key-Enquiries/Parental-Controls-Forgotten-PIN-and-Master-Key-Enquiries-1106596.html

I'd definitely try and email them again with the inquiry number once you have it, or call them. Was it definitely Nintendo UK you contacted? Their email is

    Customer-support@nintendo.co.uk

    Or Phone:

    +44 (0)345 60 50 247 (Calls charged at National Rate)

    Phone opening hours:

Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm

    Best of luck anyway.
100% sure it was the UK..

I will contact the numbers below. Thanks for all the help :)

    Hi All,
had a switch light, adding a switch light for extra hands on the house

Is game sharing a thing? All games were bought with my account previously(with other users able to use them)

Is it possible for us to both to play a game at once on separate consoles now?

Dipping my toe back into the online gaming space after many years, and I've a question about the bundled Online sub - particularly activation.

I'm getting the young lad a Switch for Christmas as he really wants to play Mario. There're some decent black Friday offers on bundles at the moment, but it's not clear to me if I buy a bundle now and stick it in the wardrobe for the next month whether the online sub starts on the day of purchase or when the console first gets booted. Nothing stands out in the Nintendo FAQs that I can see.

Losing a month of the bundled sub isn't the end of the world - I'll be upgrading to the family pack for access to all the old games anyway - but curious all the same.

The sub will need to be activated and will not start till you go through that process so won't lose any days.

Now you may want to boot up the console few days before the big man visits to make sure the system is up to date (not as big a deal with the Switch compared to a PS5 or XBox) and online before it is unwrapped so you could lose like two days or something.

You should be able to use the bundled individual base level online sub as a discount on the other tiers even after activation:

    Hi,

I bought a nintendo switch a few years ago to play with, then a young relative of mine came to visit and I had to put parental controls on to it because I had witcher and sniper games as well as a couple of others that I didn't think they could play. But then the joystick broke when they were playing it and I couldn't use it.

I meant to get it repaired a long time ago and never got around to it until about 3 weeks ago.

It is now repaired, but I cannot remember the parental controls lock, or even how to do it (it was on an old phone long gone). How can I unlock it and use the console because i have tried factory reset and anything else including every passcode that I know and checked all of my emails, but I cannot find it.

    Thanks for reading.

Sorry I have just seen this, I spent so long trying to find out where to post my question that I just posted it without reading everything first. 😳

    Sorry for so many posts.

I got through to nintendo support eventually and they can no longer provide me with a master key to reset it.

Are there any other options available to me?

It is a nintendo switch lite on fw version 21.2.0

Or is my best option now to throw it in the recycle centre?
