England playing a simple plan very very well.

    Have SA rattled so far.

Itoje walked around the maul and entered at the side. AR must have been looking at his boots casue he wasn't watching the players.

Think I seen Marler telling Tuilagi to cool the jets..

Not an arm or wrap between Martin and earl there. England making a dogfight just as they needed and it's working well

England can handle these big games in fairness.

Can England keep up this intensity I wonder

England well up for this. Just have to see if they have enough quality to keep it going.

They can. They have an ability to get up for big games no matter their form.

So what I'm learning again and it's the same every world cup, that referees get more lenient , the more important the game. Particularly around rucking and tackling, wrapping is optional.

This is not the SA that steamrolled Ireland from the start

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,613 ✭✭✭SaoPaulo41

Eng are very niggly trying to get under SA skin ,but it's backfiring the only skin they are getting under is Ben O Keefes

Ford might be on sooner than we think 😄

England wildly celebrating every penalty they get is like when corner back in Hurling goes mad thumping the badge when he gets a free out.

    Farrell is really unlikeable

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,222 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Is Owen Farrell stupid?

He was being pushed because he wouldn't give up the ball.

    Only those Saxons the Baxtards

Passionate that's all, we would love him if he was on Irish team.

They're celebrating SA giving up free kicks. Bit childish no matter how "up for it" you are.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 9,396 ✭✭✭fitz

The France game has definitely taken something out of SA. Nowhere near the same intensity of last week or against us.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Paid Member Posts: 32,765 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

South Africa expended a lot of emotional and physical energy to beat France. It's not unlike the final 4 years ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,613 ✭✭✭SaoPaulo41

They will be much fresher than SA, Boks look drained after France game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,484 ✭✭✭standardg60

That penalty against Mitchell was a joke, every player puts their hands on the ground over a ruck

Knowledge is learning something, wisdom is learning from it, intelligence thought of it first.

Superb by England so far. SA are in deep sh1t here IMO. Haven’t been able to lay a glove on England. Getting little joy from the maul or set piece, losing the kicking game and Farrell is more likely to make his 3 pointers than Libbock.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,395 ✭✭✭✭Furze99

    That penalty?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 745 ✭✭✭MaddChris

If an Irish player cost us getting sent back another 10 metres I'd be livid.

There's passion and then there's p*ssing off the ref.

Rugby is fecking mad. To me it looked like kolisi was trying to roll away but still got penalised.

I mean what the hell are ya supposed to do in that situation?

England are made for this kind of game. In the wet, low risk high percentage options everytime and clearly working on the boring crap, like kick chase, maul defence. The ball will never go outside 12 today.
