Israel and Hamas I don't care whoever murders innocent people are beyond evil.

I also fully understand there are innocent Jews and Palestinians.

One murder does not excuse another.

There are plenty of guilty evil murdering scum on each side also.

I have my own views on the political situation involved but that does not matter nothing excuses killing innocent people.

RTE 'The Red Cross has said five members of the IFRC network have been killed in the war between Hamas and Israel, including four paramedics as ambulances were hit today'. Terrible.

As a civilian yes 100 percent when they are this good at building them, or maybe hamas dont like losing more martyrs

Where would you rather be in the apartment blocks or in the vast network of hamas tunnels

israel has aircraft in the air to bomb any supplies that come across the egyptian border, therefore they are the only ones responsible and the only ones who require criticism.

they aren't simply closing their border or any border, they are trying to starve the people as a method of genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced expulsion.

stating facts is not supporting hamas, it is stating facts only.

So as your post even proves, he never said it. You are the one who says it refers to all Palestinians. And the genocidal language is your own interpretation of it.

Israel are not committing or about to genocide. Anymore than the Allies were trying to commit genocide when they blockaded Axis powers or laid siege to cities and islands.

If they deployed their full conventional military might, Israel could cause vastly more casualties. They are not doing so, and will not. And you know this.

Looks like Egypt is actually making an effort (with the US/UN) to possibly set up some sort of humanitarian corridor

Palestinians are already massing in the south of the Gaza Strip (hospitals, etc) so I'd expect a pretty massive exodus if a window does open

I ask any and all of you who can share my Palestinian friends message that I copied above as widely as you can. I tried to disseminate it on utube but all my messages are removed almost immediately as soon as I post them. Censorship and Pro-zionist news control is blocking any fair assessment of the facts. Please advise if you know of sites I can use to pass on the messages and requests for a chance to tell their side of the story.

He asks me to thank Ireland for standing with the Netherlands and Spain to overturn the attempt by the EU Commission to block EU Humanitarian funds for Palestinians. How do I do this, if not here, through all of you ?? Help me please.

You must be joking.. I got as far as Hamas Hero's and that was enough for me.

Some would argue here that if it doesnt meet their exact definition of a war crime then its not wrong. Or its just war. Or Israel didnt start it. Or the civilians should have fled. Basically victim blaming.

What would happen in Gaza if the terrorists left and ordinary people were in charge? I don’t think there would be bombings. you may think that is naive but 20/30000 people from Gaza go to work in Israel every day along with lots of other nationalities. Arabs are voted in etc.

What would happen in Israel if the army disbanded and Israel had no weapons? We saw on Saturday what that would look like IMHO.

But there hasn't been anything like the same level of post 1948 exodus from countries like the US, UK. France, even Germany, in fact in those countries the Jewish population has remained more or less stable or even increased.

Can you see what it is yet?

It's not Islamophobia when they really are trying to kill you.

You made the claim that Gallant's words specifically referred to Hamas. They did not.

"Except the Israeli government minister never said that about Palestinians. He said that HAMAS were human animals and declared a siege. That's not the same thing."

Anybody familiar with Trumpist propaganda which targets Jews while trying to pretend otherwise knows exactly what Israel is up to here, and that indeed is to imply that the population of Gaza are "human animals". That's how propaganda works - weasel worded protestations that the bleedin' obvious meaning of something does not mean the bleedin' obvious meaning of something.

    What a wall of crap

You mean final solution is coming.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,678 ✭✭✭Multipass

I agree, but the blame lies with Hamas who make damn sure there are children present at every legitimate military target.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,291 ✭✭✭Theboinkmaster

Nobody will be sharing that nonsense - you lost me at "with our Hamas heroes"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,703 ✭✭✭✭odyssey06

No. I made no claims - the claims come from you. I refuted the claim they referred to all Palestinians and did so with reference to media articles. I made no original claim of my own. And as the info linked in your post of what was actually said proves nowhere was it stated. It is your intepretation of it.

It refers to Hamas and their fighters for their horrific attacks, executions of babies, civilians, assaults and rapes.

All the more obvious that it did not refer to all Palestinians when you consider most Palestinians live in the West Bank.

Gaza - 260 children confirmed as killed. Israeli - no figure as yet but more than 40.

Terrible the loss of the innocents.

Explain how people are supposed to leave after you order people to leave while bombing them then preventing them from leaving.

You said his words specifically referred to Hamas.

His words were: “We are imposing a complete siege on Gaza. There will be no electricity, no food, no water, no fuel. Everything will be closed. We are fighting against human animals and are acting accordingly.”

That is not a specific reference to Hamas. It is an inference that it means the general population of Gaza. It's genocidal language. This is really basic stuff.

There is a fundamental dishonesty by far too many people who are self consciously "supporting" one side or the other, there is widespread gaslighting as to the meaning of language. And it's rife on the pro-Palestinian side too.

This fundamental dishonesty is one of the reasons debating this whole topic is so frustrating.

That is, at the same time one of the most brillant and idiotic answers i have ever seen on boards.ie

If my life our the life of my family depended on it i we would be in that tunnel like a shot

You argue that the people have no way to escape the shelling, i give you an example of how they could, but now its not good enough

What are you looking for, celebrate the hamas slaughter on the sunday, limousine ride out on the Monday

It's strange that people refer to Hamas instead of Palestine, as if Palestine has nothing to do with the atrocities carried out. That would be the same as blaming the Tories if the British launched an attack on Ireland.

People can pretend and wave their Palestinian flags around.

Your post has been reported to site Moderators because it appears to contravene Irish laws against hate speech.

    Disgraceful and disgusting.

Exactly, and this is hamas propaganda

They have a printer they can print the word rocket

    Lets do it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,018 ✭✭✭✭end of the road

actually no, the blame lies with the IDF and israely government who deliberately target civilians as policy, along with non-military targets.

absolutely hamas should not have children near military targets, but as israel deliberately target non-military targets as a policy, deciding they are military targets, then they are the ones who have the main blame.
