Gas how she has a crystal clear line from Israel during a war, while Bridie from Ballyfermot will sound like she's speaking through a toilet roll.

I visited Israel, Palestine and Jordan. Israel & Palestine could not be described as friendly, they are tense places. Jordan is extremely friendly & hospitable.

fcuk around and find out, Bridie

    that's it basically

Totally agree, anyone in need to the government is a pain in the hole,

My mother had hospital appointment 2 weeks ago, for half 11 , she was going for a check up 82, diabetes, had pacemaker,

Thinks she's going for a thorough checkup, eventually gets seen at half 2, checks what tablets she's on, asks how's she's feeling, of course she says okay, she was in with the doctor for five minutes,

wouldn't let me get her tea or sandwich incase she was called, and the waiting room was full of people like that who had been waiting for hours to see someone and everyone was terrified of going to toilet incase they missed being called for an appointment that was over three hours late,

Anytime i see or hear that gobshite Donnelly using sound bites to say how the HSE is vastly improving I could swing for him

What the **** is a "Peace Rave" ??

    Peace requires justice unfortunately

What happened at the weekend was disgusting - probably one of the worst atrocities in recent years( or ever).

Israel as a state can not portray itself as an innocent, peace living actor in this

Honest brokers are required to come to some kind of lasting calm in this troubled part of the world.

    Do any honest brokers exist?

Joe would have asked Paula a lot more questions about the pain she's feeling at the moment and the friends she mentioned that are missing and a whole lot of delving into pain, de pain, de pain

Could you get a hollogram of a priest to do the proceedings?

Alot started as Charities in areas of Ireland where local Health Boards weren't providing any services.

The Health Boards, and then HSE, started funding these services rather than setting up their own services. The HSE relies on these Volunteer Organisations.

There was always a linkage between the pay, until 2008 when all took cuts during the Banking Crisis but Section 39 have been left behind as Public payrises have began and HSE only provide enough funding for S39 organisations to pay staff on HSE 2008 Payscales.

Long story short, the people who use the services need the support. Either get rid of Section 39 altogether and have HSE provide all services nationally or provide funding to pay staff properly

I used to experience that a lot attending a Tallaght clinic. Thankfully the MS & gynae clinics in SVUH now are extremely well organised and I get seen in minutes of registering at the desk, once by Tubs’ brother

Unfortunately the Palestinian people have been poorly served by the other Arab peoples and states.

Well we've lost a lot of good priests over the years like Fr Ted Crilly, Fr Jack Hackett and Fr Fintan Stack.

Thought the delays in the UK with funerals was down to the shortage of staff in the autopsy side of things?

  • Posts: 24,207 ✭✭✭✭ Riley Helpless Grapevine

Well if Joe could appear in one, why not a priest?

let priests marry and let there be women priests because if not the church will be gone by 2050

Back in the day being a priest was a handy enough gig, you got a parish house to live in with a housekeeper on the go to keep you fed and watered so to speak, usually a decent newish car and invites to lots of fancy weddings and parish gigs.
