Help please

Hey guys as you can see from the pictures what's the best way to sort it out,as there was fire cement used on the outside and it keeps cracking up bady and becoming loose.

What's best thing to use around it to have a permanent non crack or crumble around the pipe that's going from my

What I did was cut the domed bottom out of an old copper hot water tank and cut a chimney size hole in the middle and used it as a boss to cover all that sort of mess up.

I'd suggest sleeving the pipe, create a buffer between it and the concrete.

Of course you can say that. Its coal stove and everything around it gets dusty very quickly. The whole back of the wall behind the stove is copper and my wife likes a verdigris finish on it. The copper boss gets a lot of heat and just covers up more of an eye soar ;-) You could polish it but it would be a never ending job. Just posted it so you can see what I mean by a boss.
