EV UK import and VRT

I've been out of the country the last few years and while I had imported a couple of Nissan Leafs a few years back, that was before Brexit taking effect. I've ran a search and as far I can make out, there's no additional VRT on importing an EV so long as its not something top of the range. I just wanted to sanity check that to make sure I have not misunderstood - so if there's someone here that has imported in the last year or so, I'd be grateful if you could confirm.

UK, add vat and customs fee. About 33% of the purchase price.
NI exemptions from cars registered uk there pre Brexit.

Is that still the case even if its EV? I came across this so I thought there wouldn't be any VRT or have I misunderstood

If you're importing from the UK make sure you buy some vaseline and bend over when the customs and vat man comes.

If you are a business importing an ev say for your business can you reclaim the vat if you are going to be using it for business purposes?

No. You can postpone the VAT but ultimately it needs to be paid eventually
