Automatic X-Trail Upgrade

Thinking of upgrading my current car to a newer automatic version with lower mileage. Current car is:

Nissan X-Trail
7-seats
150,000km
Manual
2016
1.6L SV Diesel

Zero complaints about the car. Has served me well over the past 5 years. Want an auto for the wife to drive now as well; as that's what she's more comfortable with. Budget is about €15K plus trade in of above car. Planning on holding on to it for another 5 years or so - so looking for something with low enough mileage. Haven't seen much on carzone or the likes.

Any ideas? or other cars fitting the requirement?

Would electric suit you better? If you’re looking for an auto, they’re all autos.

Do you need 7 seats? Or would a smaller car suit you?

Yes we do need 7 seats.

We have 3 kids..... the youngest is in a bulky car seat and the middle child is in a booster. It's very cramped trying to get them all across the back seat. They also kill each other when squashed into the back seat together!

I've noticed some cars have 3 individual seats across the back - but these seem to be 7 seaters anyway!

7 seat electrics are scarce. Just high end stuff really. This might not be a bad time to look around actually. Hire companies shed their excess stock from the summer so keep an eye on DoneDeal. Drop into a local dealer some day too and let them know what you’re looking for.

Not necessarily looking for an electric car. I was just responding to an earlier comment when I asked what electric cars would suit. I'm happy to go with petrol/diesel cars also.
