Is the Venetian Hall/Abbeyfield in Killester safe?

Hi,
We are looking for a property near Venetian Hall/Abbeyfield in Killester/Dublin to buy. Can anyone, who is familiar with the area, advise if it's a decent and safe place to live?

I lived in the Venetian Hall Apartment block and never had any problems. It’s a nice area, I would have stayed if I could.

This is a very safe area. I grew up in the area and the people are decent and friendly.

It's a very good area. My mother lives nearby, and I know it well. The apartments are nearly all owner-occupied, the area is well kept and I have never seen anything anti-social there.

Yes it is very decent area. But not much coming on the market for a long time in this area unless you are looking to buy that small house for 525 k.
Everything has been stagnant in this area.

That apt development is from the 1980’s expect quirky layouts and not great use of space. Nice area alright.
