Billie putting on a Millli Vanilli performance, seriously the miming was laughable on some ocassions. Niall Horan thanking the Irish people was right up there with John Paul back in 79.

Think King Kong Company summed it up perfectly for this years EP…….”Who’s Looking After Yer Kids….?”

Kudos to The Murder Capital for putting on an epic show in the Heineken tent while at the same time driving the security mental for encouraging crowd surfing and moshing (Fontaines take note….)

Honorable mention to The Lost Messiahs who put on a really enjoyable performance in Minefields as well 👏👏

What lead you to believe that Billie mimed her performance? How did you see Billie miming her performance if you were also at The Lost Messiahs?

Young Fathers were incredible. They'll be hard to beat as the stand out act of the weekend for me.

Disaster getting in yesterday. Normal campervan area full so directed to family. Not let into family for an hour because the lads there didn't know. Got set up and then were stuck in it as they wouldnt give us waistbands as all they had was family passes and we didn't have family tickets. Took another hour to get them.

I enjoyed yesterday, especially when the sun came out, so hoping for a bit more of the same today, despite a cloudy start. Nice to meet some boardsies in real life too, good to chat to you in Trailer Park desk tidy and rubick :)

Wet Leg and Young Fathers were very good. It was funny standing towards the back at Young Fathers, we may as well have had been holding massive arrow signs, considering the amount of younger (ahem) people we redirected, who were lost on their way to the EA for Belters Only. After a few minutes, we started saying "its that way" as soon as we saw them staring at the map on their phones! :)

Having come down on Thursday for the first time this year, it kind of feels like Sunday morning to me, so looking forward to two more days now, instead of one. Enjoy all!

Cause I watched 20 minutes of Billie and then made my way over to the lost messiahs

You were able to see she was miming from behind the delays? That's some eyesight you have.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,820 ✭✭✭endainoz

It's mad that sound delay needs to be explained to people that should know better.

Good day yesterday, muna, wet leg, young fathers and a few bits and bobs in between. But the cashless thing is doing my head in. Is there any bar taking cash for pints?

Great fun last night. I think I need to go to the dentist to get some fillings replaced after they rattled out between KCC and Viagra Boys.

Only caught the tail end of These Charming Men. Seemed a bit flatter than before.

Freetown has so many little nooks and crannies. I was walking around in circles discovering something new each time. From jazz in the back of a truck to techno in a kink club where people where getting whipped and spanked, it really has it all. If you are there and see a doorway, go through it.

TCM - good, not sure about the new mozzie. Benefit of the doubt. Nia Archives - issues with her earpiece I think - got crowd going, enjoyed the old school dnb break beats. Viagra boys - enjoyed the energy. Melty brains - indulgent start, thought it was Talos. Good set .

Speaking of melty brains - first can of day opened. Bring on the sun and mayhem.

Waiting till 12 to open first can of day. Remembered I had two slices of banana bread in cooler and combined with actual real life banana thus was breakfast created. Time then for a snooze before shower. Absolute sh1t nights sleep.

I really enjoyed yesterday, couple of showers early on but dryed up, was in runners all day, a bit soft in places, but imagine it will be much dryer now, wellies will be staying behind.

Hannah Grae opened the 3 music stage, despite coming out to a completely empty tent, she rocked it, very smooth and well polished performance, moving side to side, absolutely owned the stage, looked like a pro. Drawing in a large crowd.

Her music style was very unusual, at times a little ‘Disney’ then flipping to rock, almost approaching metal! A little like Gwen Stefani. Her band were extremely talented, young, but clearly influenced by 80’s/90’s metal bands, teasing with the odd riff between songs, slayers “raining blood” being one. This combo give something I haven’t experienced at EP for a long time. Hard riffs, backed up with perfectly insync and hard percussion!

I thought Billie Eilish was very good, shame to many people around us were just there for the chats.
