pretty much same but I'll be making sure that the booze bit is easily accessible so they can see "no glass", they can **** off if they think they're taking me wonderboom off of me.

I found a towel that i'd been looking for since last year buried in the depths of a moon chair that i had with me, the speaker could well be finding itself taped up in that tomorrow.

The SD bar was the only one I could find. Covered a lot of ground walking back there every time I wanted a can!

There was a bar at the Survivor stage too.

Couldn't get over how busy all the camps were last night, I'd say the majority of attendees bought the Thursday ticket

M7 / J16 starting to fill in last 20 mins or so. Gardai arrived around 8.20. A few picnickers to be seen around the breakfast roll counters of Portlaoise.

Fair enough - I thought there must be more to it alright. For me though it was almost like self sabotaging. If thats part of their thing maybe it explains why they didn't quite make it despite having a lot of the raw material. Maybe he should stick to writing the songs.

My partner and child operate at snail speed any time haste is required.

But it's sunny. May the gods be kind to me.

Also been saying for a long time, hey honey I think it'd be a good idea to buy a bigger tent.

No Rico, the tent we have is fine.

It may be fine if you didn't decide to transport all our child's worldly belongings.

Just looking through my timetable for the day and I noticed they've swapped Powpig and Tebi Rex on the app. Friday night on Croi has also changed to match what the IT published so Havvk are now moved.

It took us a good while to get down from Dublin last night with M50 traffic etc. but there was no queue for entry when we arrived and Pink Moon check in was smooth.

We went down to the Salty Dog and the surrounding areas at 11pm and couldn't believe how many people were already here. Spotted a couple of boardsies that I recognised from photos here and their t shirts :) The bars in the Salty Dog and at the Survivor stage were busy but we'd cans with us, so didn't use them. Ended up sitting chatting in the Pink Moon bar area until late enough and then slept grand, as its very quiet in here so far. Spotted a few early arrivals already, so I'm sure it'll get very busy as the day goes on.

Looking forward to the first full day now, safe travels to those on the way and enjoy the day!

All the best for the weekend folks. Muscle memory must have woken me at 6am, usually when I'd be getting things packed for hitting the road.

But alas, not to be this year. Was pretty sure the lineup was always going to make it a good weekend, and with some dry weather its should be great.

Can't wait to read the highlights on here next week!

Wishing all the veteran EP boardsies a terrific few days and nights, and it looks like the weather is playing ball this year, happy times.

Has anyone gained access to the green carpark this morning?

If so it would be great to know what route you took

En route to Stradbally so no more changes to the Clashfinder. Was communicating with the freetown production manager today and some of their stage times still being finalised so not on Clashfinder. Will tell you later who the special guest is tonight at Salty, played late there last year as well. Hope to see some of you over the coming days.

Big thank you for all the work on clashfinder, in previous years I would have needed a set square, compass, a 4-colour biro, 5 pack of biros, selotape, scissors and the EP app to pull together my itinerary, negotiate clashes and fill gaps.

This year a few mouse-clicks and its all on my phone and ready to print as well.

Obviously if changes are made from now won't be reflected on the Clashfinder but hopefully they will be minimal if any

Thanks for all your hard work in putting this together. Would be lost without it!

I might still get lost depending on drink consumption

I heard there was 27,000 early access passes sold. Many of those might be setting up camp for rest of groups coming later so hopefully majority of tents are in now.

Campervans would be on top of that also.
