Farrow & Ball

Last weekend we were visiting SIL. They've recently got there house totally redecorated. Its a lovely job in fairness. I remarked about the paint and she said they used Farrow & Ball all over. Now I'm pestereing hubby to do the same but he's finding it difficult to source Farrow & ball striped paint. Does anyone know where stocks it in the Carlow region?

I feel like if tried doing stripes on a wall I'd end up burning the house down in frustration within 24 hours 🤣

OP, best of luck, but know your limits is my advice. Getting a professional painter is probably cheaper than getting a therapist 😁

Thanks but no luck, they don't have the striped version. SIL was saying their painter, Pavel, has a contact in Farrow & Ball r&d and got early access to the product whioch will is till testing. It won't be cheap , prob 26- 27 euro for 10l but the labour saving will pay that back. Hubby now refusing to do the job until he gets this striped version. Pavel is gone back to Poland to drive a combine for the summer and is not answering his phone. Farrow & Ball won't talk to me as they arte afraid Dulux will steal their idea. Help guys!

We'd get Pavel to do it if he wasn't such a big child messing around with Claas Lexions all summer. Anyway hubby has a fairly steady hand as long as he han't been at the sauce the previous night lol

What exactly is striped paint? Surely you can just get two colours and make stripes?

I'm picturing something like that two tone chocolate spread in a paint tin when you say striped paint 😂

I don't know, im not a paintologist. I only saw the results in SIL house and what she tolsd me. Now you guys have me worried. Could SIL be making a fool of me, she's never liked me, I was never good enuf for her perfect brother. If mary finds out she's the joke SILs wall wont be all thats black and blue.
