It really annoys me that JK Rowling is ostracised or that Graham Linehan had his comedy gig at the Edinburgh cancelled because they maintain that someone like yer man they/she below is a man and shouldn't wander around the ladies changing rooms naked.

Between us all, we must have approx a million pairs of small headphones/buds, NOT a single one has a rectangle/square jac and now I have to buy yet another pair!

I hate to break it to you, but nobody - cis, trans or otherwise - is wandering naked around ladies changing rooms.

Tbh, my TA is being misgendered and getting sh1tty abuse in the ladies be it toilets or changing rooms. I've yet to see anyone naked though.. Used to ask friends if it was in any way usual for there to be nudity, resounding no to that.. Only place I've seen nudity on occassion is floor managing a fashion show (limited access only) and swimming pools (generally frowned upon outside specific hours)

Now I'm annoyed I've been typing about this for so long..

Especially when a site continually asks you this despite you having accepted them before. If only there was some cunning technical way the browser could remember this for you. Haha

Is the hooded crow and the carrion crow not the same species?

Does not only the hooded crow occurs in Ireland?

Going for interviews and pretending to like people and tell them how "passionate" I am about some shıt.

The actual subtitles: "Look folks, this job looked interesting enough for me to apply for it. I'm pretty certain a slightly trained monkey could do it and I've bills to pay. Other than that, I couldn't give a damn about it or this company."

Happens more often than not. I do a bit of research on an area, get there early and setup the cameras, only to have someone arrive near the time of the event and start using a flash light. They set up right next to you even though there is loads of space elsewhere and try and get as close as possible to you. Worse when you are trying to record video and they are talking all the time.

My next door neighbour. Knocking on the window when I turned the tv on. Its very low , so low i can barely hear it, but that Fcucker is banging on my window ? It’s not even near the demising wall .

Knocking on the window no less?. That's really actually not on.. 🤬

Turn it up when she bangs, she obviously wants to hear it and you have it too low.

The water has gone to shoite too. I think it's more municipal water supply than spring these days.

I'd say the water quality has been affected by the droughts.

I've never seen Blessington reservoir as full this time of the year. So much rain. If there's an issue with quality, its probably the treatment plants are under pressure from demand. People are chucking a few pairs of kaks only into a wash these days. They won't let the wash bag fill up, and mature maloderously! 🦨💨

I thought they meant the San Pellegrino water quality.

Which has probably been bottled from a mains tap in a shed in West Dublin. Are we to believe crates of glass bottled drinking water are being shipped thousands of miles? I recall when one of the well advertised spring water brands installed dispensers in our local supervalu way back in the 90s, empty bottles on hand, fill your own. The fkn thing was plumbed into the shop tap water.

The most easy aspect of driving is on street parking…..

yet two people I know, both who visit my neighbour, with one a Nissan note, the other a Clio…both insist on making a fûckup of parking and end up…partially blocking drives and parking on opposite sides of the road directly parallel to one another making the possibility of anything larger than a small family saloon having pretty much no chance of getting past… larger Garda vehicle from mondeo up, ambulance or Fire truck, van, lorry, minibus absolutely no chance, and if I needed to get out of the driveway last night , no chance either. Partially blocked…again, with 7 meters of free space ahead of them… the people who live there are nice but ditzy and seem to attract people… friends and family with equal or worse levels of ditziness… it’s uncanny 😅

    This indo headline;

"Oti Mabuse says she stopped trying to conceive before falling pregnant"

Why is becoming pregnant 'falling'? Is it a sin? A failure? Why not say "succeeding" or 'conceiving' or just "becoming". It's like a term the Catholic Hierarchy would have used, 'Fallen women'. Ugh. Absolute shite journalism.

Having a look at evening classes locally, 150 per term till Christmas!

Okay, I get overhead costs etc. but that was quite a dose of sticker shock.

Ta2 it doesn't take cash and it keeps rejecting my card.

Could they mean it in the same way as falling in love, or falling asleep?

The bit I don't get is that if she 'stopped trying to conceive', how did she get/fall pregnant? The immaculate conception maybe?, though that hasn't worked for over 2000 years.

Stopped actively trying, i.e, tracking fertility and having sex on a schedule. It doesn't mean she wasn't still having sex.

My TA is I have no TA, I'm in flying form. I expect normal service will resume tomorrow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,392 ✭✭✭Princess Calla

She obviously stopped tracking her cycle and actively having sex in that 3 day window or whatever.

Then as soon as she stopped stressing over it and chilled out and took the recreational view to sex it happened for them.

Not the first couple this has happened to.

Plus the immaculate conception is the conception of Mary , she was conceived without sin, not the conception of Jesus which was a virgin birth. 😉

Really? So both Mary and JC were made without the bold thing? How did that work? I know Mary blamed the Holy Ghost, the dirty bowsie, but what was Mary's Ma's excuse?
