Yes, he has potentially ruined the best week of their lives. If he had issued a strong apology to Hermoso and spoke of his sincere regret, the whole affair would have been forgotten in 24/48 hours. Instead, he and the Spanish FA have behaved atrociously and made an utter hames of things.

I could talk about about female double standards too, it is considered creepy for a man to admire a female sportspersons body yet women have oggled over men like Ronaldo for years.

Also in regards to body shaming, it is considered shameful to comment on women's bodies yet women can height shame and penis shame men every day of the week.

Only recently a porn star body shamed Trump and it was the most liked tweet of the day.
