Things you hate people saying

One for those watching any kind of sports:

"You couldn't write this script!!!!!"

It usually follows events occuring in a game/match/event which would be the most clichéd thing you could possibly think of for a movie/tv script, ie:

The underdog racecar driver driving for a team with no hope of winning goes on to....you guessed it....win the race after a series of incredible occurrences.

Or a football team are losing, and down and out and half time but....guess what....they come back and......win in the dying embers of the game!

You'd never see anything like that in a movie or tv show 🙄

I like that. It's a good collective noun. No fear of excluding anyone unless you're puritanical about 'lads' meaning males only.

People using that in the office need to be slapped.

I cannot revert to you, I have never BEEN you.

I had a manager who used it all over the place.

"John called me with a problem opening xyz application, will you revert to him there"
