    Hi

just wondering if it is possible to sound proof a ground floor apartment from noise above and beside. Or even just sound proof a bedroom as my sleep is being disturbed. Looking for suggestions on what to do

What type of noise? Impact noise (thumping/walking/dropping stuff/whatever/bass speakers) or just general noise like hearing voices/music?

It is nearly impossible to soundproof against impact noises - you would need a floating ceiling filled with sound absorbing material and similar to walls.

Have a radio playing waking me every morning around 6 ish. And sounds of dryer/kitchen chairs being dragged around from above. And also x5 times a day and during the night it appears my next door neighbours are what I assume is praying to a very loud recording
