I’ve never got an answer to my question. There’s an unusual percentage of criminals/scumbags who have English surnames, and all I’m trying to ascertain is the reason for that? Is it the Protestant working class population, Dublin onetime being the 2nd city of the British empire, just a Dublin thing?

There is a family in Inchicore with an unusual surname who are reputed to be descendants of black & tans who brought their family over when they were operating out of richmond barracks .

Don't know if this is true but it might explain the tendency to extreme violence by the men in this family.

I remember reading somewhere on here that when the English were building Dublin ,they brought a lot of working class protestants over to do the work and a fair few of these people stayed.

Williams made a deal out of some of the families in Limerick being descending from the Tans

"The bloodlines of some of the participants in the ongoing violence could be traced to members of the British Army and the notorious Black and Tans. The familial roots of others of the warring clans could also be linked to the most violent elements of the travelling community."

Take the eircode shite out of it and its just a normal beating for someone not paying their tick, probably wouldn't even had been a headline without it having the eircode stuff in it, you're proving my point completely

They just say eircode gang cos they can't say African gang right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 715 ✭✭✭ghostfacekilla

Nellie Walsh, Liam Byrne, Larry Murphy, Eamon Kelly, Micka Kelly, The slain Ryan brothers, Eoin O Connor, Brian O Reilly...don't worry, we produce enough scumbags of our own. Now, off you pop to some far right, racist thread where you might feel more welcome.

Read an article on Barry Young yesterday where it said how he controlled one of four gangs in the Northwest of the country who operate one level below the top Dublin gangs. Anyone know who the other 3 gangs are?

There are a lot of Cromwells around the Coolock\Darndale and Santry area! which I thought was unusual.

I laugh at ridiculous comments like yours.Anyone who points out we have a problem with Black young lads is called a right winger or racist.Mark my words we will have a very significant problem with African gangs and we actually already have.Balbriggan is a no go area due to these gangs.Ive relatives living there and its daily young white lads coming to and from school are attached and beaten for iphones etc.The statistics are available to see.

If you dont think we have issues with african gangs you must be living under a rock or have no exposure to areas where these gangs are operating.

Whether or not talk of such belongs here ,but to call anyone racist or right wing when they point out a serious and definite issue is pure ignorance.

Post up a link to those statistics like a good man if they're available to see.

The reality of incidents such as these in Balbriggan or anywhere else, is that these children were born in Ireland, raised and schooled in Ireland. They're Irish, regardless of their skin colour or which country or continent a parent of theirs may have emigrated from, or what God their extended family might pray to. Today's Irish come in many forms, and resisting this reality is only going to cause you frustration for the rest of your life. Not african gangs, Irish gangs.

Ill post up a link shortly on the stats.

As for Irish Gangs ,no ,absolutely not.Sure these young african lads are even going thru the irish school boy football scheme and claiming for other AFRICAN nations. You dont need stats to see that , google is your friend. They dont even see themselves as irish.Listen to how they speak in their drill BS, thats a s far from Irish as you can get.Wannabe US/UK gangstas. But sure i guess im a racist for pointing this out

Anybody goes around attacking people, dealing and robbing **** are just scum. No matter there skin colour. All should get 40 lashes. Even the kid gangs going around dublin. Someone should of bet em all around the place with bats. Dublin really is fucked.

Balbriggan isn’t a no go area. That’s plain fiction

Agree about the London accents :)

On the football thing - as schoolboy players they can only play through the Irish system/schemes at underage level, regardless of who they might wish to ultimately play for when they are senior. FIFA rule. And it makes sense when you think about it - nothing to be gained (and very risky) by having 14 year olds travelling alone from Galway to Nairobi/Lagos for a training session/one-off game. So not something that can be fairly held against them imo.

What about discussing Albanian coke gangs? Is that more suited to a far right, racist thread too?!

They have the UK coke trade sown up n making inroads here also. Best not to mention it I suppose!

This is a gangland shootings thread, almost exclusively pertaining to Ireland. If you wish to start a thread on 'foreign criminals entering Ireland', it's an easy thing to do.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,317 ✭✭✭enricoh

So Albanians taking over UK coke scene n moving to Ireland now is a no no for this thread? According to who- you?

When was the last gangland shooting here btw? Suppose we'll dust down the thread when we get one!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31 Morphy81

You seem obsessed with these Albanians that weren't even Albanians. (They had Bulgarian passports and a Moldovan/Spanish gang are using that method with Equestrian equipment etc)

You are watching too much YouTube.

Surely you are smart enough to know it's not 1 group doing this from that area of the world and Kinahans group of pals outside Ireland consisted of multiple Eastern Europeans,South Americans and Italians, Brits Etc.

Who are these "Albanians" in Ireland

Atleast show some evidence they are here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 158 ✭✭Tintin101

    Evidence you say?

Gezim Idrzi. That is who runs Albanians In this country. Iykyk

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 188 ✭✭Blarney_man

Idrizi, no such surname like Idrzi in Albania or more likely he would be from Kosovo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31 Morphy81

He is definitely a criminal here and a POS (if you associate with McGregor that's a given)

But where are you getting he is taking over and running coke into Ireland?
