    Hey,

The mothers kitchen sink waste was leaking and when I tried to fix it I discovered the back nut was actually cracked. The threaded body of the waste itself is also cracked so I need a replacement.

However, the waste hole in the sink is the older, narrower model and I can't find anywhere that still sells them, everything is the newer wider model.

So...anyone know anywhere (in Dublin) that still sells the older model! to avoid me needing a new sink!

(I did contemplate trying to widen the hole but time was not my friend and it looks like the waste is also some ancient thread with older diameter solvent PVC waste pipe, so I see major refurb in my future :()

    Cheers!

Presume you tried a merchants? All sorts of sizes and adaptors are available.

It could be a euro size thread but 40mm slotted waste are readily available.

the 40mm unslotted isn't the issue, its that I need the threaded body of the waste to fit within the opening in the sink, which is the older, smaller diameter.
