Prices seem to be ever climbing along with accessories is it good value? (skin in the industry for 25 years but not a shop owner)

Cycling is the new golf. As long as folks are happy to spend on the latest gimmicks and aero this carbon that prices will continue to increase.

I always thought when I retire, if I have a pay off, I'd buy a fancy bike but truth be told, I'd have the mid life crisis I never did. I'll buy a camper van. Should have got a loan and bought one when I was 18, hindsight is wonderful.
