Departure time v Pushback

Vuelling are the Spanish Ryanair. My wife has had plenty of problems with them over the years and they've made it difficult to make complaints and look for compensation.

I'm sure you can try but it is not going to be easy.

My Ryanair flight was delayed by over 3 hours on a Friday. Put in the claim that day, approved Monday and had the money Wednesday, no dispute.

It’s arrival time, not departure time that counts. It’s why they always say a 1 hour flight takes 3 hours

How do I prove door opening time?

I was delayed from Manchester to Belfast today. As you can see it landed 2 hours and 59 minutes after scheduled.

Doors didnt open for another 5 minutes. Im afraid theyll say the landed time is what counts and i cant proove door opening time.

Yes but my point is that if the official arrival time is 12 and you officially land at 14.59 you can still qualify because the clock keeps ticking until the doors open.

Mine was Edinburgh so 3 hours. Interesting though that the reason for our delay was that the aircraft was given to a Morocco bound flight, think their delay would have been under 4 hours if they'd waited, unless there were expected delays on landing

Yes but if as above, the delay before compensation kicks in for longer flights is longer, they should have been able to avoid compensating anyone. Plus I sincerely doubt even 50% of the people on our flight knew they were entitled to compensation though I did my best to tell as many people as I could.
