Taking Crutches on Flight? Allowed?

It's not a domestic flight 😉

But to answer your question, if you need crutches you can bring them on board but you will need a doctor's letter stating that you're safe to fly (pressure can build up inside casts etc).

If you're bringing them for someone else they'd have to be packaged securely and checked in as oversized luggage

Flew Dublin to Stansted in June and return with Ryanair on crutches and an orthopaedic boot. Zero issues, doctors note or anything else required, cabin crew will place the crutches into overhead lockers.
