What plasterboard to use underneath Plastic Roof

    Hi, I wonder if any experts here can help me.

    I have a charcoal bbq which is about 2m underneath a newly installed Marvec corrugated plastic roof. What kind of board would best help stop heat from getting up and melting the plastic, if any at all? Fireboard or insluated board I am assuming but which?

    Fireboard would be the only recommendation here as it's specifically rated for exposure to fire. But at the end of the day - and not being snarky - any fire-rated board would suffice given that you're already taking a risk in operating a BBQ under plastic.
