I will have about 7 acres to reseed towards Autumn. How much per ha is clover safe spray.

I just bought db plus today. €120 per 10 litre can, sprayed at a rate of 7 litres per Ha so costing €84/ha or €34/acre.

Clover max was €114 per 10 litre can and used at the same rate but sprayer men aren’t fond of it. If used with hard water in the sprayer it’s prone to crystallising and blocking filters and nozzles

I can’t answer that but I’ll ask my sprayer man tomorrow, he’d be on top of his game when it comes to sprays and recommendations.

As an aside, he’s not that impressed with a lot of the generic “Roundups” lately, like Gallup, Mizer etc. He thinks they’re not as effective as they used to be and sometimes sees scutch appearing in reseeds after being sprayed off originally with the generic brands and it’s something he never sees when genuine Roundup is used. He also says this coincided with a lot of these getting thinner in viscosity and lighter in colour. He says years ago it was like oil pouring them out of the drum into the sprayer and now they’re a lot more watery whether that has anything to do with it or not.
