Blackrock: Stradbrook Grove

Hi all,

I am looking at property in Blackrock. One property in Stradbrook Grove doesn't seem to get offers while most of the properties in Blackrock seems to sell very fast, for higher than asking price, unfortunately.

Is there anything wrong with Stradbrook Grove or the stradbrook area in general?

Guessing here, but the only property I see there seems a bit overpriced.

Right, that's expensive allright. Now I've been looking for a few weeks around Blackrock and Dundrum and I haven't seen a 3 bedroom house actually selling for lower than this (in this condition, meaning little work to be done). I have seen several houses selling between 60-110k above the asking price, too. I also looked around Leopardstown, and there are some more affordable houses, but close to the Spar and pub of Leopardstown, which I was advised to avoid.
