Underbody Wash to Remove Oil

Car failed NCT due to excessive oil on the underbody.

Problem is fixed now (i think).

Any idea where i can get the underbody cleaned before the next NCT in Dublin West, North areas.

Had the same problem before , bought a can of degreaser off amazon for 4 quid, popped a sheet down and blasted it while lying down in the driveway.

Went to the garage and popped 2 euro in the handheld jet wash and sprayed the underbody. Spotless.

If you have a patio cleaner attachment for your powerhose you can stick it in under the car - upside down - so the spray goes upwards obviously rather than just cleaning the ground underneath your car!

Just did this today with a can of Bardahl engine and Brake parts cleaner.

The 600ml can was more than enough. Then, as suggested, took it to the handheld was.

The 9 min wash at Applegreen was more than enough for the underbody and the rest of the car.

Now to get another NCT test date.
