I think his voice is good, lot better than Axl's anyway.

So 25 minutes in and tge novelty is wearing off. This is kind of awful. I find it genuinely sad because there’s no doubt Elton is one of the most consistently talented people the UK have produced. He should have bowed out a while back when he was still singing well. Not sure who said “always leave them wanting more” but it’s true. At this point I wish he’d packed it in by now.

Ah hit and miss for me... Needs some backing vocals support for the difficult parts.

"To follow knowledge like a sinking star..." (Tennyson's Ulysses)

I think the difference between this and GnR is that despite both frontmen having voices past their sell by, GnR has Slash and he really carried that gig. Elton really has only himself and there’s only so much the backing band can do.

Such a shame Prince never played Glastonbury.

    He would have been AMAZING.

I thought the words to "I'm Still Standing" were "Optil Dammit". Great songwriter but a dreadful singer.

Watcha talking about ? His voice is fine. Didn’t go for the ridiculously high notes on Daniel and Yellow Brick Road, but that’s excusable.

Elton steering clear of performing ‘Made In England’ - wise move.

    :D

Great to see Michael Gambon drumming for Elton on his off days!

Elton's putting singers 20, 30,40 years younger than him to shame.

Belting out those hits at 76 years old. Legend.

Hate this song. Combines 3 great Elton songs into one boring shîte fest.

Decent set from The War On Drugs on BBC Four right now.

So is this the only act safe from a cameo by Dave Grohl (given he's a past/sometime member of QotSA, it would be too...obvious)?

Going to see them on Tuesday so didn't want to watch tonight and potentially spoil the setlist!
