Not an Arctic Monkeys fan and found what I’ve seen of this has been quite boring. Maybe I’m too old for it. Playing their decent song now -Bet that you look Good on the dance floor.

Sums it up. Not a fan but I always admired the tightness and urgency of dancefloor and they've turned it into a dirge

There is no great stage effects here, why?? The big circle behind them is a bit crap. I went to verve at Slane in ‘98 and thought the stage effects were amazing? The purple colors and videos really increased the trippy feeling from the great music.

According to Spotify I'm in the top 1% of am fans and I must say that was terrible. Setlist, I dislike half those songs. Was in Glastonbury 2013 10 rows from the front after the am album came out and it was an experience. Had tickets for marlay park and when they cancelled I was actually relieved. Not how you should feel when your favourite band cancels.

Anyway, moving on. Was at pinkpop in Holland last weekend.

I haven't been but I just think hanging around the back of the pyramid and other stage for the main acts while so much else is on elsewhere is an absolute waste. Unless it's something really special like maca last year.

If you really wanted to see this year's headliners theres been plenty other ways see them...with probably a better view to.

But then I suppose there needs to be somewhere to keep the general masses while everyone is having their fun away from them, flys to shite and all that .

I went 10 years ago and I think the only act I watched at the main stage all weekend was the Rolling Stones, I'd say most people have a similar experience. I didn't go out of my way to avoid the pyramid stage, there's just so much else going on you have to make a point of going there.
