Civil service vs voluntary hospital job

Hi All, What job would you take if both permanent? A civil service CO position or a Grade IV position in a voluntary hospital. Salary wise I would say they would be the same but with increment the Grade IV would be better in the long term.

They're not the same at all. A Grade IV is more in line with an EO in the CS.
