Cost of pre-purchase car inspection in 2023?

    I'm going to buy a second-hand car but I want to get a mechanic to inspect it. I'm in Dublin. Where could I get this done at a reasonable price, and what is the best price you've been quoted for this service? Thanks!

    Literally any mechanic will do a pre purchase inspection. The problem is you have to bring the car to them. This is obviously a problem for sellers as its very time consuming especially if the mechanic isn’t nearby.

    The one you posted you will have to bring the car to their garage. There are some that will inspect the car at the sellers house but I can’t think of any off the top of my head
