Ideas for lawn edge at in ground trampoline please

Hi everyone

I was worrying about young children climbing in and falling out of the trampoline so I removed the legs, dug a hole and placed the trampoline ring on the ground. It's been okay but between mowing and strimming around it the padding is in bits.

I've bought a new padding but I'm looking for some ideas on creating a better lawn edge around it. Maybe lay a circle of bricks?

You could get a roll of 6 inch or wider DPC and put that around the edge so it sticks up and protects just the padding?

Its quite stiff and should resist the line from less powerful strimmers and easy to replace.

Thanks. I'm not sure if it will stay in place with kids running over it but a border would protect the padding.

Thats why I said 6inch or wider. You can get that a foot and a half deep. With that much in the ground I don't see how the kids will manage to move it, but I don't think you need wider than 9inch which would have around 8 inches in the ground.
